When’s the BEST time to take photos?
It honestly all depends on what FEEL you want for your session! The light is SO important to how your end results will turn out!
The sun is the softest the hour BEFORE sunrise & sunset. If you’re looking for WARM golden goodness, the hour before sunset is what I always recommend! We call this, “golden hour” - clever right? lol. Say you scheduled photos for noon right in the middle of the day, you’re getting the sun at its HARSHEST which wont really get you the soft golden you get before sunset!
Another reason I love sunset is because once the sun goes down you hit whats called ‘blue hour’.. again, like the name, the light will be blue! You can get creative and capture some unique shots during this time with a different feel.
